Michael Haze Futch

Michael Haze Futch, a beloved brother, passed away on March 11, 2026, at Glenvue Health and Rehab under the care of Community Hospice. Born on October 17, 1957, in Brunswick, Georgia, he lived most of his life in Glennville, Georgia.

Michael worked as a diesel mechanic, applying his skills and expertise to solve problems and support those around him. His dedication to his craft earned him the respect of colleagues and clients alike, as he built a reputation for reliability and excellence through hard work and determination.

Beyond his profession, Michael embraced life with genuine enthusiasm. He held a deep passion for Harley-Davidson motorcycles, finding freedom and adventure on the open road. He also cherished time spent with children, delighting in their laughter and curiosity, and his gentle, caring nature brought joy to many young lives.

Michael touched the hearts of those around him with his kindness, humor, and passion. He is survived by his siblings Kelvin Futch (Kathy), Sheila Johnson (BJ), Dianne Norris, Leanne DeLoach, and sister-in-law Deborah Futch, along with several nieces and nephews and his special friend, Tony Weaver of Ellaville, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Abrin Ellis Futch Sr. and Myrtle Lee Futch, and his brother, Abrin Ellis Futch Jr.
