Mischler, 67, of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 16, 2026.Born August 25, 1958, Mike spent his childhood with his large extended family, exploring and playing in the streets and park, of the Highland Park neighborhood of Pittsburgh. He was a proud alumnus of Central Catholic High School and often talked about his good memories of that time. Mike enjoyed interacting with people and was a car salesman for many years. He loved to listen to music and sing, and friends and family were often treated to his special renditions of an original tune or one of his favorite country music songs. Mike was a true Pittsburgh sports fan and enjoyed watching the Steelers and Pirates through good and not so good seasons. Mike was an avid fisherman for much of his life, and spent many happy hours on the shores of various lakes and rivers of western PA.Mike was preceded in death by his beloved parents William J., and Jeanne M. Mischler. He is survived by his sisters, Mary Beth (Kemal) Niksic, Jeanne (Tom) Laird, Barbara (David) Rossi, brother Steven (Shannon) Mischler and cherished nieces and nephews TJ, Jenny, Troy, Mary Rose, Paula, Jamie, Jack, Will, Peter, Eva, Sead, Amila, Hazel, Miles, and Luke.A private memorial service will be held by the family.To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Michael G.
