Michael Francis Power Zarlengo

Michael Francis Power Zarlengo, 39, of Colorado, passed away on March 2, 2026. Born on July 18, 1986, in Bangor, Maine, Mike spent part of his early life in Arizona before settling in Colorado, a place he always considered home and to which he was continually drawn.

From a young age, Mike was active and passionate about sports. He played baseball in high school and college, primarily as a pitcher, and proudly led his high school team to the state championship. The game remained one of the great joys of his life, forging lifelong friendships and providing him with countless stories he loved to share. In later years, he found similar pleasure on the golf course, where he enjoyed both the challenge of the game and the camaraderie it brought.

Mike possessed a charismatic presence and an infectious energy that made others feel welcome. Known for his wicked sense of humor and quick wit, he could lift spirits with a joke or clever comment. Honest and confident, he spoke his mind and earned the respect of those around him. He thrived in social settings and cherished his friendships, nurturing them with loyalty, humor, and genuine care. He also found delight in life’s simpler pleasures, including collecting sports cards and seeking out new hot sauces to try.

Professionally, Mike worked as a mortgage loan officer, building a successful career through his professionalism, dedication, and thoughtful guidance of clients. He is survived by his father, Gary; his mother, Toni; his sister, Jennifer; and a large circle of extended family members and dear friends who will carry his memory forward. He will be remembered for his humor, honesty, loyalty, and the warmth he brought to everyone who knew him.
