Michael F. Maynard

Michael F. Maynard, age 61, of Philadelphia, passed away suddenly on Monday, March 9, 2026. Born at Holy Redeemer Hospital in Meadowbrook, Pennsylvania, on July 5, 1964, he was the loving son of Philip and Mary Louise Maynard.

Mike was a devoted husband and father whose strong work ethic defined him. He worked for New England Motor Freight Inc. for many years until his retirement in 2012. A quiet and private man, he was known for his generosity, always willing to help others in need. He held a deep passion for Philadelphia sports, especially the Flyers, and cherished time spent outdoors with his family in the mountains. Thoughtful and curious by nature, he enjoyed exploring conspiracy theories and took pride in discussing them with others.

An eclectic music lover, Mike appreciated everything from classic country artists like Johnny Cash and George Jones to classical, jazz, and heavy metal. He followed many artists over the years and found great joy in stand-up comedy, particularly the work of George Carlin.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Francine M. Maynard (née Brooks), and his cherished daughter, Melanie Maynard.
