He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Eugene Burke and Mildred Plummer Burke; and his granddaughter Averi Burke. He is survived by: his sons, Brandon Eugene Burke (Erin) of Greensboro, NC and Daniel Ryan Burke (Catherine) of Mocksville, NC.; his grandchildren, Conner Burke, Camryn Burke, Ryan Burke and Gavin Burke; and his sister Susan B. Ford.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Mausoleum Chapel (6135 Ridgecrest Point, Winston-Salem, NC 27103).
