Michael E. Flynn, 73, of Tremont, passed away on March 7, 2026, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Born on January 17, 1953, in Champaign to Eugene and Patricia (Kernoole) Flynn, he married Susan Elliott on February 17, 1973, in Champaign.
Michael is survived by his wife, Susan Flynn of Tremont; his children, Angela (Kurt) Niehaus of Morton and Jennifer (Mark) Gingerich of Morton; his grandchildren, Jordan (Austin Chapman) Hawks, Ethan Gingerich, Caleb Gingerich, Aubrey Gingerich, and Briana Gingerich; and his siblings, Cheryl (Tom) Cain, Mary (Ed) Kleiss, and Patrick (Tanya) Flynn. He was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Flynn.
A longtime warehouse driver for Midwest Cellular, Michael lived a quiet and steady life devoted to his family. Those who knew him will remember the enduring love he shared with Susan and the pride he took in his children and grandchildren.
