Michael Dwayne Reeves, born December 5, 1977, in Conway, Arkansas, to Reverend Evans Allen and Rose Mary “Pace” Reeves, passed away on March 9, 2026.
A devoted husband, father, and servant to his community, Michael served his country as a Corporal Combat Infantryman in the United States Army and National Guard, with deployments to Kosovo and Operation Iraqi Freedom. He later served as a Cabot, Arkansas police officer for nine years before retiring. Deeply committed to his faith, he was an active member of Liberty Holiness Church, where he faithfully ran the sound system, served as a security guard, and regularly drove the church van. He found great joy in tending his yard, working on his vehicles, taking on church projects, and spending time with his family.
Michael loved helping his friends and sharing his thoughts on any topic at hand. He was preceded in death by his father, his grandparents Owen Lee Reeves, Margret Christen Maynard Reeves, Edward Eugene Pace, and Norman Jean Stephens Pace, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and great-grandparents.
He is survived by his wife, Angela Marie “Collins” Reeves, to whom he was faithfully married for 23 years and 6 days; their five children, Wyatt Allan Reeves, Katelyn Honey Reeves, Nathan T. Reeves, David Owen Reeves, and Emily Ann Reeves; his mother, Rose Mary Pace Reeves; his brother, Allen Dale Reeves, and sister-in-law, Rebecca Reeves, along with their children, Ethan and Evangeline Olivia Reeves; his father-in-law, Patrick Alan Collins, and mother-in-law, Mary Jean Collins; his brother-in-law, Charles Kitchell, and sister-in-law, Myriam Kitchell, and their sons, Levi, Matthew, and Maximus Kitchell; brothers-in-law Alan Collins and Patrick Collins; sister-in-law Rachel Collins; and many other loving relatives.
