He was a devoted father to his children, Tanya, Hannah (Matthew), and Lucas (Vanessa), and a loving grandfather to Nicholas, Christopher, Lucas, Maria, and Parker. Mike's collection of guns was a testament to his appreciation for history and mechanics, and he approached this hobby with the same meticulous care that he applied to all aspects of his life. Michael's love for animals was also admirable. He cared for those in nature as much as the furry companions in his own home. As he leaves behind his car ride partner and grand-dogs, they will all miss him dearly.A lover of chess, Mike was a strategic thinker who enjoyed the challenge of the game.
