He is survived by: his mother Carolin Brooks Valentine of Marietta; his sons, Randall Murray of Portsmouth, OH, Cody Posten of Parkersburg, Eric Posten of Parkersburg and Caleb Valentine of Marietta; his brothers, Thomas and Wayne Valentine; and his close friend Buster. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home (314 4th St, Marietta, OH 45750). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
