Michael Dale Purnell, 72, of Morehead, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at his home.
Born on September 17, 1953 in Rowan County, Kentucky, Mike was the son of the late Emil Lee Purnell and Ada Fultz Purnell. He worked as a subcontractor until his retirement.
He is survived by his brother, Terry Lee Purnell of Morehead.
Mike will be laid to rest at Ditney Ridge Cemetery.
