Michael D. Hansen Sr.

Early in the morning of Saturday, March 14th, 2026, Michael D. Hansen Sr., aged 75 left us to journey to heaven.

He was born to Kenneth and Rita Hansen on November 7th, 1950 in Milwaukee.  Michael was an accomplished fixer and builder of all things, and worked diligently as a Scalesmaster for Buzzi Cement Company.  He was also a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the Army.

His absolute greatest joy and sense of pride came from the family he created.  Michael was married fifty two years to the love of his life, Dianne Hansen.  With his wife by his side, he enjoyed riding his Harley down any and all class B roads, and loved attending any activity his grandkids were involved in.  Michael dedicated his life to being a loving husband, involved father and papa and loyal friend.

He will be known for his humorous one liners, shooting a solid game of pool, enjoying any Bucks or Packer game, and creating countless memories with both family and friends on the deck he built.

Michael is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth and his mother, Rita; his brother, Scott.

He is survived by his wife, Dianne; their three children, Michael Jr. (Christie), Christopher (Valerie) and Tiffany.  His legacy will continue through his six grandchildren: Michael the 3rd, Nathan, Grant, Eliana, Adilyn and Delany.

The funeral service will be held at Hartson Funeral Home, 11111 West Janesville Road, Hales Corners, WI 53130, on Friday, March 27th with visitation beginning at 10 AM prior to service at noon.

A celebration of life and luncheon will follow, being held at Friends on Forest Home, 5614 W Forest Home Avenue, Greenfield, WI 53220.

Michael D. Hansen Sr. may have left this world, but his love and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
