Michael C. Harring
July 11, 1965— March 11, 2026
Schnecksville, PA
Michael C. Harring, 60, of Schnecksville, passed away on March 11, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest. Born in Allentown on July 11, 1965, he was the son of Shirley A. (DeLong) Harring George and the late Carl J.R. Harring, and stepson of the late William D. George II. A graduate of Parkland High School, Class of 1983, Mike co-owned the M R Doggy Style Hot Dog Shop in Walnutport for five years before retiring in 2022. Earlier in his career, he worked as a mechanic and shipping/receiving clerk at Ironton Telephone Company for many years. He was also a former member of the Slatington Lions Club.
Mike’s true passion lay in old cars, motorcycles, and anything with an engine. He spent countless hours collecting and restoring his vehicles, but his greatest joy came from taking long driving adventures with his beloved dog, Jackyl. Those who knew him will remember his mechanical ingenuity, his quiet generosity, and the steady comfort he brought to those around him.
He is survived by his mother, Shirley; brothers Timothy C. Harring (Christine) of Conway, South Carolina, and Ricky T. Harring of Schnecksville; his caretaker and best friend, Sheri-Lyn Creasey of Palmerton; step-daughter Jessica L. Kresge (Charles) of Slatington; grandchildren Brady and Cole; nieces Andrea L. Kushnir of Orefield and Victoria L. Harring of Northampton; great-nephews Keegan and Leo; and his devoted canine companion, Jackyl.
