Michael C. Callahan

Michael C. Callahan, age 74, of Uniondale, New York, passed away on March 7, 2026. Born on November 12, 1951, in Baldwin, New York, to George and Kate Callahan, he was the youngest brother to Mary, Ann, Pat, Beth, George, and Cathie. Michael graduated from St. Christopher’s Elementary School, Monsignor McClancy Memorial High School, and studied at SUNY Empire.

He is survived by his wife, Doreen, their daughters Monica and Catherine, and his grandson Liam. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings Ann, Mary, and Pat.

Michael loved his family with his whole heart. A kind and empathetic man, he extended warmth and compassion to everyone around him. He possessed a wonderful sense of humor that could light up any room, along with a brilliant mind that allowed him to analyze situations thoughtfully and offer wise counsel. Despite many challenges throughout his life, he remained a fighter who persevered with quiet strength. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
