Michael Battaglio

Michael Lee “Mike” Battaglio, born May 22, 1977, in Queens, New York, to LeRoy and Maria (Mariani) Battaglio, passed away in 2026. The fourth child of LeRoy and Maria, Mike worked as a tree trimmer and found deep satisfaction in being outdoors. He cherished time spent with family, especially the warmth and togetherness of Thanksgiving gatherings.

Mike is survived by his two children, Xzavier Battaglio of Hannibal and Ariana Cason and her husband Dillon Cason of Fulton, Missouri. He is also survived by two brothers, Joseph Battaglio of Madison, Missouri, and Tony Battaglio and his wife Alma of Milton, Florida; two sisters, Kim Sharitt and Edith Ensor and her husband Matt Ensor, all of Holliday, Missouri; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A joint memorial service was held for Mike on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at The Good Shepherd Mausoleum in Oakland Cemetery.
