Michael Ashby

Michael Ashby, 51, of Zephyr Hills, Florida, passed away on March 7, 2026. Born in Syracuse, New York, Michael was a man who loved working with his hands and embraced life with passion and energy.

A skilled carpenter and fencing expert, he took great pride in his craftsmanship and in the work he did for others. Known for his strong work ethic and the care he brought to every project, Michael was always willing to lend a hand wherever it was needed.

He had a deep love for muscle cars and motorcycles, finding joy in the power of a classic engine and the freedom of the open road. Those who knew him will remember the stories he shared about the cars and bikes he cherished.

Michael is survived by the love of his life, Tabitha Fuller and her two sons; his mother, Amy Whitney and her husband Doug Whitney of Baldwinsville, New York; his sister, Jessica Flynn of Baldwinsville, New York and her companion Joshua Clements; his brother, Steven Ashby and his companion Katherine James of Syracuse, New York; as well as 12 nieces and nephews and one great-niece. He was predeceased by his father, Joel Ashby. He will be remembered for his generous heart, his devotion to family, and the bold spirit that echoed in the rumble of a muscle car engine.
