He was born June 28, 1950, in Wheeling, WV to the late William Arland and Esther Lee Shuman Tennant. He retired as an electrician from Weirton Steel and was a member of the Cedar Lodge Follansbee, and the Wellsburg Moose Lodge. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Sharon Lee Craft Tennant who passed in 2010. He is survived by his daughter Marcy Jo Boyd (John) of Follansbee, WV and his brother Richard Tennant (Joni) of Wellsburg, WV, grandson Michael James Boyd and several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
