He was predeceased by: his parents, Lincoln Payne and Rosetta Jacobs; and his sister Irma Jean Payne. He is survived by: his children, Rozuandra Jacobs of Eunice, LA and Michael Anthony Jacobs II of Eunice, LA; his siblings, Joann Johnson of Tampa, FL, Mary Hodge of Houston, TX, Raymond Jacobs of Killeen, TX and Lincoln Payne Jr. of Baytown, TX; and his grandchildren, Zhaleyhia Finley and Makenli Jacobs. He is also survived by other relative and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Owens-Thomas Funeral Home (437 Moosa Blvd, Eunice, LA 70535).
