He was predeceased by: his brother Dale Ridgley; and his parents, Mildred Ridgley and Allen Ridgley. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ridgley; his children, Robin Woolridge (Chris), Michael Ridgley, Jr. (Lisa) and Randy Ridgley (Christie); and his brothers-in-law, John (Amy) and David Sprunck. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (420 S Heartz Rd, Coppell, TX 75019). A committal service will be held on Tuesday, March 24th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
