He is survived by his wife of 47 years, a son, and two amazing grandchildren.He was born on April 29, 1955, in Bayshore, New York, to Frances and Louis Alessi. He was a construction superintendent, overseeing construction of major roadways and bridges on Long Island.He also was a superintendent in charge of all the outside work on the new stadium for the Mets, now called Citifield.
