Michael Albert Beckmann, born on July 24, 1956, in Huntsville, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home in Denton, TX, on March 10, 2026. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, friend and human being whose legacy will endure in the hearts of those who knew him.
Michael held a Bachelor’s degree and was widely respected for his intelligence and commitment to his work. He was known for his kindness, compassion, and unwavering support for his family and friends, always ready with a listening ear or a helping hand.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Linda Beckmann, and their three children: daughters Anne and Carra, son Ryan, grandsons Randy and David, sisters Rebecca Beckmann, Peggy Efird, brother Sam Prater, and beloved dogs, Starla and Eevee. Michael’s family was his pride and joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Erhard Beckmann, Jr. and Anne Marie Karnes, who instilled in him the values he lived by throughout his life. Their influence shaped him into the remarkable person he became.
On March 14, 2026 a visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a Celebration of Life Service from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. He will be laid to rest at Roselawn Memorial Park following the service.
After the burial, please join Mike’s family in continuing to celebrate Mike and his living memory with a Reception.
Mike will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the cherished memories and profound love left behind for his family and friends.
