Michael A. Gisoni

Michael A. Gisoni, 66, of Washington, passed peacefully at home with his family by his side on Saturday, March 7, 2026. Born on April 30, 1959, in Washington, he was the son of the late Alphonse and Shirley Gisoni.

He was the beloved partner of Sheri Williams for 34 years and the loving father of Gina (John) Smiddy, Michael Gisoni, Tony Gisoni, and Jarod Williams. He was the dear brother of Roxanna (Gordon) Laubert and the proud Pappy Giz to Gabe, Leland, Charlotte, Stevie, and Zoey. He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Gisoni, and is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Known to many as Giz, he found joy in rock ‘n’ roll music, time spent on the golf course, and most of all, being surrounded by his family. Whether on a long car ride listening to his favorite songs, playing a round of golf, or simply sharing quiet moments with loved ones, Michael cherished every opportunity to connect with those closest to him.
