He is survived by: his children, Dennis Ritchie (Julie) of Indianapolis, Michelle Koch of Albany, KY, Kimberly McCane (Frank) of Hanover and Bettie Smith (Mike) of Madison; his brothers, Randall Ritchie (Jody) of Stanton, KY and Charlie Ritchie (Sandy) of Stanton, KY; his grandchildren, Tommi, Christopher, Erika, Brittany (Brandon), Jeffrey, Kristen, Emily, Amanda (Dave), Trey, Tanner and Matthew; and his great grandchildren, Rylee, MaKaelynn, Caleb, Brandon, Allison, Weston, Cooper, Ryu, Katelynn, Marzana, Ares, Shawna, Lydia and Harrison.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home (707 S Main St, Milan, IN 47031). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at the Greendale Cemetery.
