Littlepassed away on March 7, 2026 at the age of 93 at Bethany Manor Nursing Home. He was born on May 23, 1932 in Elmira, NY to the late Vincent Little and Winifred Boyd Little.He was married to Charlotte (Owen) Little who predeceased him in 2023.Merle is survived by his daughters; Donita (Ron) Parmenter, of Odessa, NY, Renee (Jeff) Hunt of Estero, FL and LuAnn Mosher of Horseheads, NY, many precious grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.Merle grew up in North Chemung, NY and served in the National Guard after graduating from Southside High School. He worked for many years as a Teamster truck driver, employed by the Dairymen's League of Elmira, NY and later by the Seneca Beverage Company in Horseheads, NY. He also farmed for many years raising hogs and chickens and also growing tons of produce.He was a devoted family man who loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Merle had a deep appreciation for nature, wildlife and his many dogs.The family will welcome your condolences at this time, but it was Merle's wishes that services be held privately.
