Mercedes Nicole Morris

Mercedes Nicole Morris, born on September 12, 2007, in Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on March 5, 2026, at the age of 18. With her vibrant spirit and warm heart, Mercedes brought light and joy to everyone she met during her too-short time on this earth.

She had a deep love for nature and spent many happy hours hiking and exploring the outdoors, where she felt most alive. Mercedes had a keen eye for beauty, whether capturing landscapes through her camera or creating art with her makeup brushes. A high school senior at the time of her passing, she was eagerly preparing to join the United States Marine Corps after graduation, reflecting her courage, discipline, and desire to serve her country. In her work in retail customer service, she touched many lives through her kindness, patience, and genuine care for others.

Mercedes was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Amanda Nicole Graham and Kevin Adam Morris Sr. She is survived by her brothers, Max Morris and his fiancée Trinity of Canton, Ohio, and Kevin Adam Morris Jr. of Mooresville, North Carolina. She also leaves behind her Uncle Brandon Daugherty and wife Claire of Charlotte, North Carolina; her Grandfather Kevin Morris and partner Robin of Mooresville, North Carolina; dear friends Mr. Nyron Henry and daughter Montana of Mooresville, North Carolina; Aunt Angela Dupal and son Marcus of Canton, Ohio; Uncle Bryan Dupal and children Layla and Colton of Canton, Ohio; Uncle Ryan Dupal and sons Nathan and Brayden of Canton, Ohio; and her Great Aunt Jennifer Graham with children Katie and Aaron of Perry, Ohio.

Though her life was brief, Mercedes filled it with love, laughter, and a spirit of adventure that will continue to inspire all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family and friends.
