Melvin F. Huffer

Melvin F. Huffer, 77, of Kingston, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. Born on June 21, 1948, in Circleville, Ohio, he was the son of the late Henry George and Lola Francis (Streitenberger) Huffer. A 1966 graduate of Centralia (Zane Trace) High School, Melvin spent his working life as a truck driver before retiring. He cherished the family farm where he was raised and found deep joy in the company of those he loved.

Melvin is survived by his children, Kelly (Scott) Wilson of Lancaster, Tonya (Dave) Campbell of Chillicothe, and Michael (Jason) Fain of Frankfort; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; his brother, Mike (Nina) Huffer of Kingston; his sister, Goldie (Larry) McNichols of Tarlton; and many special nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched.
