Melody D. Raines

Melody D. Raines, born on December 11, 1974, in Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on March 10, 2026. With a heart devoted to family and a spirit filled with warmth, she lived a life of unwavering dedication and tender joy.

A proud graduate of Kennedale High School, Melody remained deeply rooted in Texas. She found her greatest happiness in supporting her children and playing with her grandchildren, expressions of her nurturing nature and boundless affection.

She is survived by her daughter, Cheyanne, and husband John Roan; her son, Chance, and his girlfriend, Emalee; and her beloved grandchildren, Landry, Waylon, and Heidi. Melody was the cherished daughter of Delbert and Mary Raines and Brenda Raines. She shared a close bond with her brother, Johnny, and his wife, Amy Raines, as well as her nephew, John Boone Raines, and many cousins who held her dear. Brandon Hull remained her best friend and steadfast companion throughout her journey.

In Melody, those who knew her will always remember a life defined by love, devotion, and familial warmth. Her gentle presence and the happiness she so freely gave will continue to echo in the hearts of her family.
