She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis E. Burns and Wyona Y. Burns; her sister Molly D. Burns; and her mother-in-law Margaret Snyder. She is survived by: her husband Greg Snyder; her children, Patrick and Bethany Short (Daniel); and her siblings, Brent Burns and Shawna Neal (John). She is also survived by nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles; cousins; and countless dear friends.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at the Miller Funeral Home (504 W Main St, West Dundee, IL 60118).
