Megan S. Mason
February 28, 1975— March 5, 2026
Megan S. Mason (née McDonnell) was taken from us far too soon on March 5, 2026, at the age of 51. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Megan was the beloved wife of Tyler Mason, with whom she shared 25 wonderful years of marriage. Their partnership was built on love, trust, and mutual respect, and their bond was admired by all who knew them. She was the loving daughter of Mary and the late Richard “Dick” McDonnell. Megan was a devoted mother to her two cherished furbabies, Odie and Bean, who brought her endless happiness and companionship.
Her friendships were a testament to her generous spirit. Megan was a beloved friend to Nikki Schemehorn and Sarah Kapusta, and she touched the lives of many others with her kindness and warmth.
Megan is further survived by other loved relatives and many dear friends whose lives were enriched by her presence. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Megan found great joy in the kitchen, where she loved to cook and experiment with new recipes. Her creativity extended beyond cooking, as she also enjoyed crafting and making unique projects by hand. The holidays held a special place in Megan's heart, particularly Christmas. She delighted in decorating Christmas trees and creating a festive atmosphere in her home, sharing warmth and cheer with those around her.
A celebration of Megan’s life will be at a future date. Details about the time and location will be shared once arrangements have been finalized. Please revisit this page for the most up-to-date information regarding the celebration.
