Megan Leeann Jenkins

February 26, 1987 March 10, 2026

Healdton, OK

Megan Leeann Jenkins, 39, of Healdton, passed away on March 10, 2026, in Purcell. Born on February 26, 1987, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, to Charles Lee Dorough and Shirley (Willson) Underwood, she was raised in Chickasha and Comanche, where she developed a lifelong passion for music and sports. She loved playing the drums and basketball, and her vibrant personality often filled the car with enthusiastic singing during family karaoke sessions.

A proud graduate of Comanche High School with the class of 2005, Megan worked in various roles in her community before becoming a supervisor machinist at Kerr Pumps in Sulphur, where she spent the last four years of her career. Known for her strong work ethic and dedication, she brought the same warmth and care to every part of her life. She had a special fondness for autumn, especially Halloween and all things spooky, and cherished time spent with her family.

On June 17, 2016, Megan married Dale Jenkins at Lake Murray Chapel, and together they built a loving home in Healdton. She was a devoted aunt whose heart overflowed with love for her nieces and nephews, and she found great joy in her role as a mother to her children and grandmother to her granddaughter. Megan also adored her beloved dog, who brought additional happiness to her days.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Underwood. Megan is survived by her father, Charles “Chuck” Dorough; her husband, Dale Jenkins; her children, Alicia Mclaughlin (Kalen), Dilon Jenkins (Rachel), Cayson Jenkins, and Rosalee Jenkins; her sister, Melissa Richmond; her brother, Clay Dorough (Sarah Hamilton); her granddaughter, Lakelynn Jenkins; and her nieces and nephews, Maverick Hamilton-Dorough, Alexis Dorough, Dremaine Dorough, Chance Dorough, Makayla Richmond, Tesla Richmond, Rebel Richmond, and Andrew Haddaway, along with many other loving family members, coworkers, and friends.
