Megan Brown

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Megan Brown of Honaker, Virginia, who passed away on March 8, 2026 at the age of 43. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Megan departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Megan may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Megan leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her father Richard Hicks; and her brother Anthony Hicks. She is survived by: her mother Kathy McIntyre Hicks; her husband Jon Brown; her daughters, Aubree Brown (Reid O'Quinn) and Alissa Brown (Samuel Street); her siblings, Erica Hicks, Richard Hicks and Hillary Hicks Dye; and her grandmother Mattie McIntyre. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Honaker Funeral Home (4686 Redbud Hwy, Honaker, VA 24260).
