It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Max L Cook of Saint Clairsville, Ohio, who passed away on March 9, 2026, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lois; his children, Courtney Cook (Jess) of St. Clairsville, OH and Kristin Myser (Nick) of St. Clairsville; his grandchildren, Manigault Todd (Christian) of Brevard, NC, Mackenzee Cook of Franklin, NC, Treeker, Macort, Loee, Clifton Myser of St. Clairsville, Owen, Kravin and Maxer Cook of St. Clairsville; his great grandchild Olivette Todd of Brevard, NC.; his brother David (Ronda) of St. Clairsville; his sister-in-law Patsy of St. Clairsville, OH.; his sister Christine; his close friend Chuck Orum; his brothers, Jackie (Joyce) of Franklin, NC, Jerry (Pat) of Franklin, NC and Gene; and his friends, Dick Kuthy and Mike Hogue.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Thoburn United Methodist Church (209 E Main St, St Clairsville, OH 43950). The military honors will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 12:00 PM.
