Maurice, also known as "Reece" was born on March 2, 1970 in Neptune, NJ.Maurice was a graduate of Neptune Senior High School and attended Morgan State University, Baltimore, MD. He was employed as a forklift operator and an Uber driver. Maurice was an outstanding athlete, he played football and basketball in high school and football in college. Maurice coached Neptune Pop Warner football for several years. Under his leadership, his 1996 team won their division championship. Maurice was a diehard sports fan who loved cheering for his favorite sports teams, especially the Chicago Bears. Maurice enjoyed cooking BBQ and finding new restaurants to enjoy with his family.Maurice was predeceased by his parents Cynthia and William "Sonny" Dennis Revels Jr, and nephew Tyrone Samuel. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Revels and daughter, Ellice Revels, Colonial Heights, VA his brother, William Dennis Revels III, Neptune, NJ sister Sonya Yvette Stewart, Chester, VA brothers-in-law Gary Ramsey wife Patricia, Neptune, NJ, Brian Ramsey, Neptune, NJ and Daryn Ramsey wife Deborah, Perry Hall, MD. He also leaves to mourn aunts: Freda Jones, Michelle Jones, Marcel Jones Puryear and Cheryl Wooden, and uncle Frank Revels. Nephews: Mychal Revels, Tyrese Samuel, Jonathan Ramsey wife Katriece, Kyle Ramsey and nieces: Monet Walker, Monet Revels and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
