Maurice Lemieux

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maurice Lemieux of Clinton, New York, who passed away on March 4, 2026 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Lemieux and Mary Lemieux; his brother Paul Lee Lemieux; his niece Audrey Brennan; and his son-in-law Chad Gates.

He is survived by: his daughter Mysti LeDonne Lewis-Gates of New Castle, PA; his grandchildren, Emily Van Der Sluys (Nicolaas) of State College, PA, Christian Lewis of New Bedford, PA, Sarah Lewis (Joshua Tomon) of New Castle, PA and Cameron Lewis (Siearah Versace) of New Bedford, PA; his siblings, Rita Briggs (David), New Hartford, Timothy Lemieux (Diana), Sherry Kimball (Wayne), William Sauquoit (Patricia), Eva Lemieux, Michael Lemieux (Sharon), E. Amherst, Susan Brennan (Keith) and David (Tamara) of Elgin, SC; his uncle Clifford Lemieux of Ruskin, FL; and his aunt Elizabeth Lemieux. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Home (3022 Oneida St, Sauquoit, NY 13456).
