He was born on July 3, 1930, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Andrew Straslicka and Beulah Reeves.Maurice was a devoted father, grandfather, and great grandfather whose greatest joy in life was his family. He leaves behind his beloved children, Deborah (Robert) Corns, Mark Straslicka, Nancy Wiencek, and Bruce (Laura) Straslicka. He was the proud grandfather of Jonathan (Erin), Caitlin (Zac), Erin (Tyler) and Emerson, and the cherished great grandfather of Elliot, Declan, and Owen. Maurice is also survived by his brother, Loren (Mary) Straslicka, and was a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews.He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lois Straslicka (née Schneider), and his sister, Doris (Joe) Kemp.Maurice proudly served in the United States Navy for three years. He had a natural talent for fixing anything-whether around the house or under the hood of a car. His skill and dedication led him to a long career with Ford Motor Company, where he worked for many years as a Tinsmith.
