Maurice Allen LeVan

Maurice LeVan, 64, of Memphis, Tennessee, born in Fullerton, California on June 7, 1961, entered into eternal rest on March 7, 2026.

An only child who had no children of his own, Maurice was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Elsie LeVan, formerly of Orange County, California. He was deeply cherished by the Johnson family of Oakland, Tennessee, who embraced him as one of their own. He is survived by Terry and Anita Johnson; their daughter, Cynthia Johnson McClelland of Long Island, New York; and grandchildren Sydney, Lawson, Sara, and Dua. He was also preceded by the Johnsons’ son, Christopher.

Maurice possessed a heart of gold and will be truly missed by all who knew him. He found great joy in golf and in racing remote-controlled cars, pursuits that reflected his spirited and generous nature.

He will be remembered fondly by the family who loved him as their own.
