McShane, Chicago Fire Department's first paraplegic and the late Marion K. Rogers. Maureen was the devoted wife of the late Robert Skelton. They loved traveling and resided for a few years in Naples, Florida. She was a loving mother to Julie Lively and Robert Lively.Maureen, affectionately known as 'MO' was a cherished sister to the late Mary Ann (Jerry) Keith, Kathleen McShane of Boynton Beach, and Bobbie Gordon. She was also a fond aunt to her niece and many nephews.She was a proud graduate of St. Lucy Grammar School and Siena High School. Flipping through her memorabilia, her family discovered that she was honored by Weiboldt's and the Chicago Tribune in 1956 as "Typical Teen" in a several page photo shoot, modeling spring fashions.A Celebration of Life for Maureen will be held on Friday, April 17th 2026 - 9:00 AM until mass starting at 10:00 AM - St. Edna Catholic Church - 2525 N Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60004.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
