Matthew W. Dennis

Matthew W. Dennis, 39, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on February 27, 2026. Born on May 7, 1986, in Fort Wayne, he was the son of Milton and Peggy (Van Duser) Dennis. After graduating from Homestead High School, Matthew worked for UPS for 23 years before continuing his labor on the family farm.

He found great joy in off-road Jeeping, racing motocross, fishing, and shooting with his friends. Above all, he cherished the time spent with his nephews, whether playing video games and riding dirt bikes with Jackson or fishing with Benjamin. Matthew was known for his fun sense of humor and his huge heart.

He is survived by his parents, Milt and Peggy Dennis, his sister Hollie Wise, his two nephews Benjamin and Jackson Wise, and his maternal grandfather Alvin Van Duser. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Norman and Arlene Dennis, and his maternal grandmother, Cynthia Joyce.
