Matthew W. Dennis

Matthew W. Dennis, 39, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly February 27, 2026, He was born on May 7, 1986, in Fort Wayne, the son of Milton and Peggy (Van Duser) Dennis. After graduating from Homestead High School, he went to work for UPS for 23 years. After his employment ended, he continued working on the family farm. He enjoyed off road Jeeping, racing motocross, fishing and shooting guns with his friends. He especially enjoyed the times spent with his nephews, whether it was playing video games and riding dirt bikes with Jackson, or fishing with Benjamin. Matthew was a great guy with a fun sense of humor and had a huge heart. He is survived by his parents, Milt and Peggy, his sister Hollie Wise; two nephews, Benjamin and Jackson Wise and his maternal grandfather, Alvin Van Duser. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Norman and Arlene Dennis and maternal grandmother, Cynthia Joyce. Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Monday, March 9, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46804.
