Born on July 20, 1983, he lived his life with a loving and spirited nature that touched all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.Matthew attended Grand Ledge High School. For over 15 years, he dedicated his working life to landscaping at Land Visions. His hard work and commitment not only beautified the community but also exemplified his strong work ethic and his ability to see the potential for beauty in all things.Matthew was a man whose presence was synonymous with joy and laughter. The simple pleasures in life brought great delight to Matthew, who could often be found teaching his children, Michael and Kendra, the finer points of shooting, sharing the serene beauty of fishing and hunting, as well as, enthusing over his favorite NASCAR drivers and WWE matches.He is survived by his two children, Michael Hulburt and Kendra Hulburt; his mother, Karen; his brothers, Tom & Mel Hulburt Jim and Susan Hulburt, Kevin and Mandy Cobb, and Kenneth Cobb; his sisters, Kimberlee Daniels significant other to Kimberlee and Brian and Yvonne Mayhew; his best friend Tony and Carie McClellan and the mother of his children, Sarah Hulburt. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Hulburt; his brother, Bill; and his uncle, Ron.Services will be held at Eagle Park 14331 S Grange Rd, Eagle MI 48822 on Saturday, March 28, 2026, lunch- in 1-4 pm.
