Millersville, MD
Matthew P. Brennan, 65, of Millersville, Maryland, passed away on March 7, 2026. A skilled master carpenter, Matt was known for his craftsmanship, steady hands, and the quiet pride he took in building things that would last. Wood and tools were his language, and through them he shaped not only projects but lasting memories for those who knew him.
He could be found every Wednesday morning at The Saw Mill at Kinder Farm Park, always ready to lend a hand and ensure things were done safely. He was a member of the Anne Arundel County Antique Tractor Club and enjoyed attending meetings of the Annapolis Anglers Club, where he shared stories, knowledge, and laughter. Matt especially loved listening to Irish music, which often served as the soundtrack for good conversation and time spent with friends.
Preceded in death by his sisters Janine Brennan and Cecile Brennan and his brother Tom “Bubba” Brennan, Matt is lovingly remembered by his siblings Tony Brennan (Janice), CAPT Bob Brennan, USN (Ret.) (Tina), Mark Brennan (Mary), and Angela Brennan (Shelley), along with many nieces, nephews, and friends who were fortunate to know his humor, kindness, and generous spirit.
Matt will be remembered for his craftsmanship, his love of music, and the deep value he placed on friendship. His legacy lives on in the things he built and the many lives he touched.
