Matthew David Hinkin of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away on March 16, 2026 at the age of 62.
He was predeceased by his father, Paul Edwin Hinkin, and his brother, Daniel T. Hinkin. Matthew is survived by his mother, Mabel Agnes Hinkin (Wesson); his son, Joshua David Hinkin; his siblings, Douglas P. Hinkin (Sarah), Beth Ann Cartner, and Lawrence W. Hinkin; and his caregiver, Kim Busby.
Matthew lived a life marked by quiet strength and deep devotion to family. Those who knew him will remember the steady presence he offered, the care he showed others, and the love that defined his relationships with his mother, son, siblings, and those closest to him. His memory will remain a meaningful part of the lives he touched.
