He was predeceased by his father, Paul Edwin Hinkin, and his brother, Daniel T. Hinkin. Matthew is survived by his mother, Mabel Agnes Hinkin (Wesson); his son, Joshua David Hinkin; his siblings, Douglas P. Hinkin (Sarah), Beth Ann Cartner, and Lawrence W. Hinkin; and his caregiver, Kim Busby.
Matthew lived a life marked by quiet strength and deep devotion to family.
