Matthew C. Rozowicz, 61, of Saratoga Springs, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2026, surrounded by his family at Saratoga Hospital. Born on January 27, 1965, in Taunton, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Michael S. and Nancy A. (Fuller) Rozowicz.
A graduate of Burnt Hills–Ballston Lake High School, Matthew built much of his life around his passion for motorcycle racing. Known for his “need for speed,” he became a professional and accomplished flat track racer, earning numerous titles including Eastern Novice National Champion and Junior National Amateur Champion. For more than 40 years he was also a respected wholesale car dealer in the region, working for Condor Trading Corp. in Clifton Park and building a strong reputation in the automotive community.
Above all, Matthew’s greatest joy was time spent with his children, nieces, and nephews. He cherished family gatherings and his famous Sunday dinners, often featuring his signature burnt BBQ chicken and corn warmed in the microwave. He was rarely without a bag of pretzels or chips, and some of his happiest moments came from racing alongside his son Brandon and watching his sons play football. His dogs were constant, beloved companions throughout his life.
He is survived by his son, Brandon (Hayley) Rozowicz; his brother, Mark (Ann Marie) Rozowicz; his sister, Melissa (the late Vrej) Bagramian; his nephews and nieces, Christopher (Athena) Rozowicz, Steven Rozowicz, Alexis Bagramian, and Amanda Bagramian; and his great-nephews, Connor and Austin Rozowicz. He was predeceased by his son, Bradley Rozowicz, and his brother, Michael Rozowicz. Matthew will be remembered fondly by his many loving friends.
