Matthew White ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by DeKalb Funeral Chapel, LLC on Mar. 17, 2026.Matthew White age 30 of Smithville passed away Saturday, March 14, 2026, at his residence. He was born July 20, 1995, to his mother and late father, Jenniffer Arlene Atnip and Robert Edward White. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Diane White. Mr. White worked at Bridgestone and in various restaurants. He is survived by his mother, Jennifer White; two sisters, Savannah White of Sparta and Sarah White of Bon Aqua; grandparents, David and Renny Stinson of Bon Aqua; girlfriend, Ashley Goodman of Smithville; aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. The family has honored Mr. White's request to be cremated. A memorial service will be held 4 PM Friday, March 20, at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, March 20, 2026, from 2:PM until the time of the service at 4: PM. The family ask in lieu of flowers donations may be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses in memory of Matthew.
