We are sad to announce that on March 4, 2026, at the age of 51, Matthew Alexander Raymond of Santa Rosa, California, born in Boone, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping Matthew's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.

He is survived by: his daughter Maya; his former wife Aya; and his parents, Margaret Raymond and Loren Raymond.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, April 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Daniels Chapel of the Roses Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. (1225 Sonoma Ave, Santa Rosa, CA 95405).

In lieu of flowers, donations would be welcome by the Ecumenical Project for International Co-operation, Save the Redwoods, or a charity of your choice.
