Mateo Adrian Colunga-Gonzalez was born on December 18, 2025, in Brownwood, Texas, and passed away on March 7, 2026. He was the beloved son of Norma Hernandez and Adrian Colunga.
Though his time on earth was brief, Mateo touched many lives with his bright, beautiful smile. He was a wonderful baby who brought immense joy to his family and especially cherished the moments he spent playing with his big sister.
He is survived by his parents, Norma Hernandez and Adrian Colunga; his sister, Amylia Williams-Gonzalez; his brother, Elias Antonio Corona; his aunts, Kayla Guereca, Kelani Guereca, Patricia Sandoval, Karina Barreras, Maria Ragland, Adriana Colunga, and Victoria Colunga; his uncles, Xavier Gonzalez, Victor Jr. Colunga, and Raul DonJuan; his grandmothers, Maggie Gonzalez and Rebecca Orozco; and his great-grandparents, Justo and Rhonda Gonzalez.
Mateo will be deeply missed and forever held in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
