Master Cortez Deon "Tre" Stegall, 15, of Roanoke, Alabama, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026.

Tre was the beloved son of Daphyne Heard and Cordale Stegall, both of Roanoke. He is survived by his devoted brothers, Cordale “CJ” Stegall, Jr. and Cordarius “Shawn-D” Stegall, also of Roanoke. He leaves behind his maternal grandparents, Cindy S. Heard of Roanoke and Willis “Rogers” Heard of Tacoma, Washington; paternal grandparents, Stacy and Tony Dozier of Roanoke; maternal great-grandparents, Vernon Hardnett and Willis Heard, Jr., both of Roanoke, and Willie Mae Heard of Columbus, Georgia; and paternal great-grandmother, Bessie Stegall of Roanoke.

He is also lovingly remembered by his aunts Adrian (Andrew) Cannon of Grantville, Georgia; Candice (Carlos) Heard-Vines of Roanoke; Myieshia (Brandon) Brown of Millbrook; Jessica (Lawrence) Houston of Roanoke; and Whitley (Shamarek) Abney of Douglasville, Georgia; and uncles Cedrick Heard and Galvin Heard, both of Roanoke; Terrance (Leteshia) Stegall of Auburn; Mortavious Bryant and Christopher Bryant, both of Roanoke. A host of cousins, extended family members, classmates, and friends will forever cherish the memories of his young life.
