Shirley Funeral Home, Inc. - North Huntingdon on Mar. 8, 2026.MaryEllen Donnelly Piesik, age 72 of Irwin, Penn Township passed away March 6, 2026 at Forbes Hospital, Monroeville. She was born June 15, 1953 in Braddock, a daughter of the late Patrick James Donnelly Jr. and Betty Petrisko Donnelly Craycraft. In addition to her parents, MaryEllen was preceded in death by her brother, Patrick Donnelly III in 2024. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Irwin. MaryEllen was a graduate of Greensburg Central Catholic Class of 1971. She later graduated from the Bradford School of Business and received her Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources from Seton Hill College.. Prior to her retirement she was employed by both Jeannette Hospital as the Director of Admissions and was the practice manager for UPMC Cancer Center from where she retired. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren attending their sporting events. She is survived by her beloved husband Bernard "Bernie" Piesik, three daughters, Meri Loughner (Scott), Jaime Springel (Rick), Kathryn Rossetti (Rob), three brothers, Kevin Donnelly (Debra), Tim Donnelly (JoAnne), Thomas (Sandra) and her sister Eileen Donnelly. A funeral mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Church in Irwin on Tuesday, March 17 at 10AM. Please go directly to the church. James W.
