Mary Viola (Blue) Peel
June 24, 1966— March 9, 2026
Duncan, OK
Mary Viola Peel, age 59, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2026. Born on June 24, 1966, in Duncan, she was the beloved wife of Ron Peel, whom she married on October 3, 1992. A devoted wife and loving mother, Mary found her greatest joy in caring for her family and creating a warm, welcoming home filled with kindness, patience, and steady presence.
She worked as a caregiver for the elderly and drove a van for a daycare, roles she truly cherished. Mary delighted in spending her days with children, sharing smiles and laughter, and she brought the same warmth to her extended family. To her nieces and nephews, she was the fun aunt who planned “chicken wing dates,” water play parties, and many small adventures that were always filled with laughter and love. Throughout the year, she made holidays special, hiding Easter eggs for the children and ensuring presents waited under the tree at Christmas, creating traditions and memories her family will treasure.
Mary will be remembered for her compassion, her quiet strength, and her lifelong habit of putting others before herself. Her gentle spirit and generous heart touched everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Ron Peel; her sons, Sam Peel and Earl Peel; her sisters, Marilyn Kerbo, Tammy Kaus, and Karen Shoemaker; and her cherished nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Veral Blue; her mother, Margie (Morris) Blue; and her sister, Theresa (Blue) Franklin.
