Mary V. Trodden

Mary V. Trodden of Blue Bell passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on March 8, 2026, at the age of 97. She is survived by her loving children, Mary Jonas (Gary), Eileen Turner, Kathleen Donohue (Timothy), Joseph (Lori), Theresa Cullen (Robert), and Michael (Christine); her grandchildren, Theresa, Gary, Tracy, Michelle, Megan, Heather, Kelly, Brian, Kaitlyn, Jessica, Lauren, Danielle, Robert, Matthew, Kirstin, Michael, Daniel, Jenna, and Joseph; 29 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; her daughter, Margaret Skelton (Harry); and her grandson, Timothy.

Mary lived her life with a joyful spirit that touched everyone around her. Though she worked outside the home, her greatest calling and deepest pride was being a mother. She taught her family the values that shaped their lives: to avoid conflict with one another, to never envy what others have, and to always show gratitude for the blessings they were given.

Mary possessed an extraordinary gift for remembering every detail about her loved ones—their birthdays, anniversaries, and all the little things that made each person unique. No one ever doubted her love, and in return, she was deeply loved by all who knew her. Her presence brought warmth, steadiness, and joy to her family, and her absence will be felt profoundly. Mary will be dearly missed.
