Mary Ruth Turpin McNabb

Mary Ruth Turpin McNabb, age 92, of Lenoir City, passed away on the morning of March 13, 2026. Ruth retired from Maremont after many years of dedicated service and was a longtime member of Silver Ridge Baptist Church. Above all, she was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister whose greatest joy was spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis McNabb; daughter, Sherry McNabb Abercrombie; parents, Bill and Flossie Turpin; brothers, Bill Turpin Jr., Paul Avery Turpin, Eddie Turpin, and Roy Turpin; and sisters, Jane Seals, Ruby Snodderly, Pearl Turpin, Mattie Marie Turpin, and Shirley McDonald.

Ruth is survived by her children and their spouses, Dewayne and Glenda McNabb, Rodney and Tammie McNabb, and Tammy and Danny Eblen; her grandchildren, Steven and Megan Abercrombie, Kevin and Jylian Abercrombie, Jordan and Julie McNabb, Tara and Josh Shelley, Brent and Mary Kate Abercrombie, Josh and Ashton McNabb, Colton and Katie McNabb, and Marah and Coleman Sullivan; ten great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Steve Abercrombie Sr. (Nelda); sisters, Virginia McNabb and Carolyn Petty (Paul); and many nieces and nephews.
